Our Team

Joan Koven, Founder and Director of Academic Access, draws on more than twenty-five years of experience to help students think creatively about educational options. The depth of her college planning experience has been built on her background, which includes retail manager, marketing director, research coordinator, group trainer and interviewer. Joan works with students to help manage expectations, to alleviate the pressure of college admissions, and to add confidence so that the student's application is as strong and as representational as possible.
